At ToMA, we’ve spent years living among the wonders of the Pacific Northwest, hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, kayaking the waterways of the Pacific Northwest, snowboarding Mt. Hood, and surfing the waves of Short Sands. We aim to keep these cherished places pristine by creating practical and affordable alternatives to plastic for families and businesses.

Michael Angiletta

Our co-founder, Michael Angiletta, owns a popular whiskey bar on the coast of Oregon called Blaylock’s Whiskey Bar, known for its expansive whisky collection and award-winning craft cocktails. Already awarded the Best New Business in Oregon by Mainstreet America, Michael was never one to rest on his laurels. He wanted to elevate the experience further, make it even better than it already was so he began offering cocktails with beautiful glass straws. The straws were so popular, patrons would insist on buying them. Michael was so enthused by the ecstatic response of his customers, he made it his mission to share these beautiful straws for other restaurants and bar patrons to enjoy.

Andrew Rowe

Andrew Rowe is an accomplished technologist, entrepreneur, world traveler, outdoor enthusiast, and aspiring amateur chef. These passions have driven him to become the co-owner of ToMA Straws where he continues to focus on the journey of sustainable change. He is thrilled to embark on the opportunity to pave the way for a more eco-friendly alternatives to plastic straws. He has been known by his friends and family as the “change agent” and is thrilled to be a positive force in changing the environmental impact of the estimated 7.5 million straws that pollute the US coastline, as 50 million straws are used in the US per day. Putting his passion into action, Andrew is thrilled to lead ToMA alongside his business partner and team to make lasting impacts for generations to come.
